Because of the genre of material that I write, I’m often talking about things besides the writing projects that I’m working on. You will find a lot of posts about film, television, books, video games, and all things related to the things that I write which would be supernatural, superheroic, action-adventure and fantasy. That’s why today I’m going to be talking about a big reveal on Gotham which I saw coming during season three but that is because, of course, I am a superhero nerd. Well, what I knew was coming finally arrived.
Iron Fist debuted this past Saturday on Netflix. I and the wife have watched all 13 episodes (well, at least I did). So what is the verdict. Understand, I am a comic book fan and I’m also a writer so I’m always looking at these things from the perspective of a writer. And…wow. This was just…well…go ahead and read the post because I say more than a little bit about this Netflix series.
Daredevil has always been a favorite superhero of mine since the mid-1980s when Frank Miller redefined him. I’ve been collecting his comic off and on ever since. I was disappointed tremendously when the movie version of Daredevil was released in 2003 (just adding to one of the many reasons I loathe seeing Ben Affleck in any superhero film). Well, Marvel has rebooted him in a series on Netflix which was recently released. Of course, I had to do one of my infamous posts on it.
