Keeping the creative juices flowing for me is bound up in reading. Movies and television may give you some good ideas, but reading makes you a better writer. Today, I give a review of the latest book I’ve finished from Terry Brooks.
James Patterson says to aspiring writers, “Be careful of, ‘Oh. I’ve got it figured out. I don’t need to read anymore.’ That’s death.” This is true writers should be readers, especially of the material they write. So, in keeping with that, I have written a review of the second book in an X-Men trilogy.
Today is the day of the official release of Blackson’s Repentance, Book 2 in the Poltergeist Files. Here’s how you can get a copy.
There’s so much to do here at RIU HQ and sometimes, we can get a little sidetracked. We had to regroup and reprioritize to get back on the wagon and this summer is gearing up to be the busiest time we’ve had in a long time with the release of Blackson’s Revenge and the goal to have the whole trilogy released by the end of August. Oh yeah. It’s about to get hot up in here.
As a writer, sometimes an idea gets a hold of you and won’t let go. It keeps popping up and you add on and develop it until it screams that it must be born. It must be released though it wasn’t something you had planned on. This is what has transpired in my pregnancy.
