Well, it has begun. 2018 and a new year for Marvel movie fans. With a new movie comes Superhero Movies and Writing series. The last one I did was Thor: Ragnorok (and yes, I did see Justice League. I just haven’t gotten around to doing a post on it yet). Now, we start off this new year with the enigmatic Black Panther.
I’m a married man and I’m having an affair. No. It’s not with another woman (don’t be silly). It’s with superhero novels. I’m attracted to them. I’m on a mission to grow my library of them to high proportions. How did it come to this, this obsession with amassing the largest superhero prose novel collection? Simple. I love me some superheroes because I love the good guy.
Opening weekend, I went to see Thor Ragnorok. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular since I had seen several trailers. Then, I was shocked that Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 93%. What in the world was I missing. I bought my tickets, packed up the wifey, and went to find out.
Change. It can be beautiful. It can be ugly. It can be wonderful. It can be tragic. The journey to change many times is a difficult one but within the difficulty there is a beauty that once we reach the destination makes it all worth it. This is currently the journey that I’m on. Many things are changing here at RIU headquarters. As in most things in life, everything hasn’t worked out exactly as I would like to but that’s okay. I’m learning a lot and persevering. However, the change continues. There’s one more change that is going to happen here that I want to share with you.
