Book Recommendation: Smallville – Strange Vistors

So I’m doing things a little bit different here at R.I.U. HQ. In all the posts that I’ve done on my blog, I’ve never done a book recommendation. I have plenty of reviews but because of the new direction that we’re taking, I haven’t had the time to actually do a whole lot of reviews even though I’ve read a handful of books in the last couple of weeks. But what I wanted to do with this new beginning is to really add a little bit more value to the people who come to the website. So I am going to give book reviews when I can and book recommendations when I see that a book is really enjoyable to me and that I think will be enjoyable to my readers as well.

So this week in my weekly blog post, we have my first book recommendation which comes from writer that I very familiar with, Mr. Roger Sterns about a small town in Kansas.

Spider-Man: Homecoming and Writing

In keeping with my theme on writing and the genre which I love and write…sort of, I wanted to do a post on the latest movie from Marvel, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Now, to be honest, when I first heard that the movie was going to be hitting the theaters, I had some slight apprehension. I mean, we went through three Spidey movies with Tobey Maguire and two more horrible ones with Andrew Garfield (worst Spider-Man ever). So, you can’t blame me for having a bit of trepidation. However, the trailers looked very promising. So much that I decided it was worth giving a shot.
