Opening weekend, I went to see Thor Ragnorok. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular since I had seen several trailers. Then, I was shocked that Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 93%. What in the world was I missing. I bought my tickets, packed up the wifey, and went to find out.
Today I’m going to give my two bits about a book that I had mentioned that I was reading which has finally been finished. Writing book reviews is one of my secret joys and ¢ writing them a moan website I have a lot of freedom when it comes to the information that I want to include within the book review. Sometimes a like to give some very detailed insights into books but that’s mostly for nonfiction. When it comes to fiction, I tend to be a little bit more general which is what I’ve done here with this review. But even so, my hope is that it gives you enough information to where you can make it a decision whether or not you want to go and pick this book up.
There was a time where if it was found out that you collected comic books that you were weird, consuming all of that fiction nonsense. It was O.K. for kids but for adults, that was a no, no. We had to fit that grown up mold and be interested in only things that grown ups should be interested in, whatever that means.
My, how things have changed.
Today, being into all things superhero is the new cool. It has experienced a new renaissance. The comics never left but now we have more movies, television programs, and prose novels than probably any other time since superheroes have been around. It is arguably rivaling the popularity back during World War II. It is good to be a superhero nerd and it’s the best time to be a superhero nerd and a writer at the same time.
As a writer, normally you are working two jobs at once. The job that’s bringing in the money right now and your writing which you would like to bring in the money later on on a full-time basis. At least this is the goal for those of us who truly want to do this for the rest of our lives and make a living at it. That being said, we are always looking for ways to be more productive in our writing.
On the most basic level, that will be how many words that were able to pound out in a day. How can we get the most words into our computers in the most efficient amount of time? Well for me, I have discovered a tool that is a tremendous help and my hope is that as you read this post that it will help you just as much.
All you need to do is purchase a lizard.
